Robin Vander Wall

Criminal History
Robin Vander Wall was arrested in Virginia for multiple counts of computer solicitation of a minor and attempted indecent liberties with a child. In April 2004, he was convicted on five counts of solicitation and one count of attempted indecent liberties. The charges stemmed from an undercover investigation where a Virginia Beach police officer posed as a teenage boy in an online chat room. Vander Wall arranged to meet the officer, believing him to be underage, at a Virginia Beach park on January 10, leading to his arrest.
According to the state attorney general, he was convicted “as a result of an undercover investigation that involved Virginia Beach Police officers pretending to be three different 13-year-old boys in Internet chat rooms between November 2002 and January 2003.”
